What To Expect
At the Eye and Laser Center we strive to be as time conscious, efficient, and thorough as possible. Upon checking in, one of our technicians will escort you to an exam room to take your medical history, check visual acuities and intraocular pressures, perform any diagnostic testing that may be necessary, and, depending on the type of exam, dilate your eyes. Dilation is an important part of a comprehensive eye exam as it allows a complete evaluation of the posterior structures of the eye. Though it is not necessary, some individuals prefer to arrange for a driver following a dilated exam. As our exams are thorough, please bring a copy of your medications with you to your appointment. This will help Dr. Brown know exactly what ocular medications may or may not be right for you based on your medical conditions.
To make your visit as streamlined as possible, our new patient forms are available online for your convenience.
